How PRP works
A small blood sample is drawn and spun in a centrifuge, which separates it into layers. The platelet-rich fraction is drawn off — a concentrate of the same growth factors your body uses to repair tissue — and re-injected into the scalp or micro-injected into the skin. Nothing foreign is introduced: the material is yours, which is why allergic reaction is not part of the risk profile.
What it improves
On the face: overall skin quality, fine lines, dull tone and the thin, tired look under the eyes that no filler fixes well. On the scalp: hair density in early thinning and in androgenetic patterns that have not yet lost the follicle. It supports what is still alive — PRP does not regrow hair where the follicle is gone, and anyone claiming otherwise is selling a result the biology does not allow.
Session and recovery
About sixty minutes including the draw and the spin. The scalp is uncomfortable during injection and numbing helps; the face is easier. Expect small bumps and redness for a few hours after facial application, and tenderness on the scalp for a day. Nothing visible after twenty-four hours. Results are cumulative — a series of three sessions a month apart, then maintenance every six months for hair.

Preparation is the whole difference between a working PRP and an expensive placebo: closed sterile kits, the spin protocol run to spec, and the concentrate used immediately. Safety, side effects and aftercare
What to expect
Redness and small raised bumps where the plasma was placed, settling within a few hours. Scalp tenderness for about a day. Occasional small bruises at injection points. Because the material is your own, allergy is not a concern.
When we don't treat
Not performed with platelet disorders, active infection at the site, uncontrolled anaemia, active cancer, or while on anticoagulant therapy without medical clearance. Pregnancy and breastfeeding are excluded. Anything suggesting a medical cause behind the hair loss is referred for evaluation before treatment.
Aftercare
No washing the scalp for the rest of the day. No gym, sauna or pool for twenty-four hours. On the face: no make-up for twelve hours and SPF 50 as always. Alcohol and anti-inflammatories are best avoided the day before and after, since both blunt the response you are paying for.

Frequently asked questions
Will PRP regrow hair I have already lost?
No. It supports follicles that are still alive and thinning, which is why early treatment works far better than late. Where the follicle is gone, no injection brings it back, and we would rather tell you that at the consultation.
Is it painful?
The scalp is the uncomfortable part and numbing helps considerably. On the face, most people find it comparable to any injectable session.
How soon will I see something?
Skin quality shows from the second session. Hair takes longer — three to four months before density changes are visible, because the growth cycle sets the pace, not the treatment.
Can it be combined with microneedling?
Yes, and it is one of the best pairings in the clinic: the channels let the plasma reach deeper, and both work on the same repair response.
