The experience

Safety, side effects and aftercare
What to expect
A cool sensation along the arm during infusion, and occasionally a small bruise at the puncture site. Some people notice a metallic taste or flushing, which passes within minutes.
When we don't treat
Not performed in people with kidney or heart failure, G6PD deficiency (relevant for high-dose vitamin C), during pregnancy without medical clearance, or with known allergy to any component of the formula.
Aftercare
Drink water and eat normally afterwards. Keep the puncture site clean and dry for a few hours. You can return to your day immediately — there is no downtime.
