How facial contouring works
Rather than filling whatever looks hollow, the face is assessed as a structure: the relationship between cheekbone projection, jawline definition, chin position and the midface that connects them. Filler of different densities is then placed at specific structural points — firmer products deep against bone for support, softer ones superficially for transition. The goal is that no single area announces itself; what changes is how the proportions read as a whole.
What it improves
A jawline that has lost its line. Flat or descended cheekbones. A chin that is short in profile and makes everything above it look heavier. Midface volume loss, which is what makes a face look tired before it looks aged. It corrects proportion — it does not change bone, and a plan sold as a jaw transformation without acknowledging that limit is overselling.
Session and recovery
Sixty to ninety minutes with numbing cream, usually in a single visit and reviewed two weeks later. You see the change immediately, though the first days include swelling that exaggerates it. Bruising is possible, particularly along the jaw. Most people are presentable the next day and fully settled at two weeks. Duration depends on the products used and the areas treated, typically twelve to eighteen months.

The plan is drawn before anything is injected, and it is drawn on your face rather than on a template. Aurora works from bone outward, uses cannula in the areas where it lowers vascular risk, and stages larger plans across two visits rather than putting everything in at once — a face that changes gradually reads as rested rather than treated. The starting figure covers a full plan, not a single syringe.

Safety, side effects and aftercare
What to expect
Swelling for one to three days that is normal and temporarily exaggerates the result. Bruising at entry points, most likely along the jawline. Tenderness to pressure for several days. The result should be judged at two weeks, not in the mirror that evening.
When we don't treat
Not performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding, over active infection or skin lesions, with autoimmune conditions affecting healing without medical clearance, or where previous permanent filler has been placed. Where the request is a change that filler structurally cannot deliver, we say so at the consultation.
Aftercare
No pressure or massage on the treated areas for a week, and sleep on your back the first nights. No gym, sauna or pool for forty-eight hours. Alcohol the same day increases bruising. Contact the clinic immediately with increasing pain, skin blanching or any visual change.
This page is general information, not a medical assessment. Your suitability is evaluated in person during your complimentary consultation, where we review your history and current medication. Anything requiring medical evaluation is referred to the appropriate healthcare professional.

The final figure is set during your consultation, once the areas and quantities you actually need are assessed — the consultation itself is complimentary. Cash (MXN or USD) and card accepted. The USD figure is a reference and moves with the exchange rate.
Frequently asked questions
Will it look obvious?
It should not. Contouring done well changes proportion, not features — people should read you as rested rather than treated. A face that announces its filler is a plan that placed too much in too few places.
Why a full plan instead of one area?
Because faces read as wholes. Filling only the cheekbones on a face that has lost chin projection makes the imbalance more visible, not less. The starting figure reflects a plan, which is why it is higher than a single syringe.
Is it reversible?
Where hyaluronic acid is used, yes — it dissolves. Any product used that is not reversible is named and explained before it goes anywhere near you.
How long does it last?
Typically twelve to eighteen months depending on the products and areas. Structural points on bone tend to last longer than superficial ones.
