How biostimulators differ from fillers
A hyaluronic filler adds volume the moment it is injected. A collagen biostimulator works differently: microparticles placed in the deep skin trigger a controlled regenerative response, and over the following weeks your body builds new collagen exactly where it was placed. The result appears gradually, looks completely natural, and keeps improving for months — nobody can point at the day you had it done.
The brands we work with
At Coconut Botox Tulum we work with the premium biostimulator families: Sculptra (poly-L-lactic acid) for progressive full-face restoration, Radiesse (calcium hydroxyapatite) for firmness and contour with an immediate scaffold effect, HarmonyCA for hybrid lift plus hydration, and new-generation options like Juvelook and Rejubella for skin quality, fine texture and under-eye areas. The right product depends on your age, skin thickness and goals — that decision is made in consultation, never by trend.
What treatment looks like
After facial analysis, the product is applied with cannula or fine needle in strategic vectors. The session takes 30–45 minutes. Expect mild swelling for a day or two and, with some products, a massage routine at home for the first days. Visible improvement builds from week 4–6, with peak collagen around month 3 and results lasting 18–25 months depending on the product and your metabolism.
Who it is for
Ideal if you want structural rejuvenation without a volumized look: early jowls, loss of firmness, deflated cheeks or dull skin quality. It pairs beautifully with Morpheus8 for laxity and with Botox for expression lines — your plan can combine them across visits.

Safety, side effects and aftercare
What to expect
Swelling and tenderness for two to three days. Bruising is common. Small lumps can be felt in the first weeks and are resolved with the massage protocol we teach you.
When we don't treat
Not performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with autoimmune conditions in an active phase, active infection in the area, or a history of keloid scarring or granulomas.
Aftercare
Massage the area as instructed — usually five minutes, five times a day, for five days. No intense exercise for 48 hours. Results appear gradually over two to three months as your own collagen forms.

Frequently asked questions
Biostimulator or filler — which do I need?
Different jobs. Fillers restore specific volume instantly; biostimulators rebuild firmness and skin quality gradually. Many plans use both, spaced correctly. The consultation defines yours.
Will people notice?
They will notice you look rested and firmer — not that you had a procedure. The change builds over weeks, which is exactly why it reads as natural.
How many sessions?
Sculptra-type protocols usually run 2–3 sessions a few weeks apart. Radiesse often shows with one. Your plan is confirmed at consultation.
Can I do it on vacation and fly home?
Yes. Flying is fine after 24–48 hours; we send written aftercare and follow up by WhatsApp when you are home.
