Morpheus8 combines microneedling with fractional radiofrequency. Ultra-fine gold-plated needles deliver controlled thermal energy into the deep dermis and the fat interface, triggering new collagen and elastin while tightening existing fibers. The result: firmer, smoother, more even skin — without surgery.
What it improves

Session and recovery
Numbing cream makes the pass comfortable. A facial session takes about 45–60 minutes. Expect redness like a sunburn for 24–48 hours and light dryness or micro-crusts for a few days — makeup is usually fine at 48 h. Strict SPF is mandatory afterwards, which we help you plan around the Tulum sun. Visible firming builds from week 3 and keeps improving for 3 months as collagen matures. Safety, side effects and aftercare
What to expect
Redness and a grid pattern of tiny marks for 24–72 hours, similar to a strong sunburn. Mild swelling the first two days. Dryness and flaking during the first week.
When we don't treat
Not performed during pregnancy, with active acne infection or open lesions in the area, with a pacemaker or metal implants in the treatment zone, on recently tanned skin, or while on isotretinoin.
Aftercare
For 48 hours: no make-up, gym or pools. Strict SPF 50 for two weeks — this is the single most important step. Gentle cleanser and plenty of moisturiser. Results build over 8–12 weeks.

Is Morpheus8 safe for tanned or dark skin?
Yes — radiofrequency bypasses melanin, making it safer than many lasers for darker or sun-exposed skin. We still require honest disclosure of recent sun.
Does it replace a facelift?
No. It is the strongest non-surgical option for mild to moderate laxity. Severe laxity may need surgery — we will tell you honestly at consultation.
Can I combine it with Botox or fillers?
Yes, strategically: Morpheus8 first, injectables after 2 weeks, or injectables first and Morpheus8 at the next visit.
Can I do it while on vacation?
Yes, if you can commit to strict SPF and no direct tanning for two weeks. Many guests schedule it at the start of the trip.
